We’ve all seen it – a pet walking around despairingly wearing the “cone of shame” after a surgery. But the Humane Society doesn’t see it as a cone of shame, but rather a cone of honor. When a pet dons the plastic cone after a spaying or neutering, they should wear it with pride and honor – they are helping promote better pet health and reducing pet overpopulation.
